Toys away...

Xaye is working on cleaning up. When we prepare for a meal, we put toys away. We put books away. Then, we encourage Xaye not to take out the books and toys, and he does anyway. So then, I know, the anticipation is hard to endure....we work on cleaning up.

He is beginning to initiate clean-up time in the bath, in his room, and after he is finished playing. It is hard, though, because once all of the toys are away, they just look so.....lonely. Sitting there, waiting to be played with. Not to mention the times when we put toys away and one toy bumps another toy and there is a siren and wheels whirring and oh, what the heck. Let's play!

Lights, Camera, Action!!

We finally got a video camera this week. It's the Elura 100, in case anyone's interested (it's a really good dv model). Now we can take horus and hours of video that we can show to our grandkids when we get old and crusty. After 1 week of shooting, we have enough video of him saying "TRACTOR!" to last a lifetime. Any special video requests out there???

Since I've posted anything. So many things happened in 2006! Xaye is walking, he shot his first tv appearance (appearing in March 2007 on a tv near you), he has a new davorite word (CAR!), and so many other things.
